“多穿点”别说成“wear more”，地道的表达是这个！

最近几天，全国不少地方气温骤降，所以大家一定要记得多穿点衣物，注意保暖。那么问题来了，“多穿点（衣物）”用英语该怎么说呢？

很多人第一反应可能会想到“wear more”。乍一看这样说确实没毛病，“wear”是“穿”，“more”是“更多”，但这其实是一种中式英语。

首先，这种说法并不地道，而且有一种强加于人不太礼貌的感觉。其次，“wear more”的意思是再穿一件和身上衣服相同的衣服，比如毛衣外面套个毛衣，短袖外面套个短袖，这样就会显得很奇怪了。

那么，“穿厚点”或者“多穿点”的地道表达是什么呢？

bundle (sb) up （使…）穿得暖和

英文释义：to put warm clothes on yourself or someone else

The kids were bundled up in coats and scarves.

孩子们穿着大衣，系着围巾，裹得严严实实。

bundle的本意是“束；捆”，“bundle sth up”的意思是“把…捆扎起来”。

wrap (sb) up （使某人）穿得暖和

英文释义：to dress in warm clothes, or to dress someone in warm clothes

Wrap up well - it's cold outside.

穿暖和点——外面很冷。

dress warm 穿暖点

No matter how busy you are, you must take care of yourself. Friends may not contact each other very often, but they always have each other in heart. It's getting cold, dress warm.

这就是友情，再忙也要照顾好自己，朋友虽不常联系却一直惦念，天凉记得多穿衣。

wear extra layers 多穿几件

You should wear extra layers, or you will catch a cold.

你应该穿多点，不然你可能会得感冒。

stay warm/keep warm 保暖

We all crowded around the stove to stay/keep warm.

我们都挤在炉边取暖。

wear your heart on your sleeve 流露（自己的）情感

“sleeve”的意思是“袖子”，但是这个俚语的意思并不是“把心穿在袖子上”，而是“感情外露”。
